Terms of Use
These terms set out how the lessons, images and practice tools on Learnkufic may be used, and what you can expect from the service.
1. Agreement
These terms form an agreement between you and Learnkufic and govern your use of the site and any account you create on it. By using the site you accept these terms in full.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.
We may suspend or close accounts that are used unlawfully, that attempt to circumvent access controls or that disrupt the service for others.
3. Educational nature of the material
Lesson material, historical descriptions and letter constructions are study summaries prepared for teaching purposes. They are not scholarly editions and should be verified against primary sources before citation or publication.
The material is provided on an as is basis and may be revised, reordered or withdrawn as the curriculum develops.
4. Intellectual property
The site design, written lessons, diagrams, letter constructions and the Learnkufic name and logo are protected by copyright and remain the property of Learnkufic unless stated otherwise.
You may use the material for personal study and classroom teaching with attribution. Commercial redistribution, resale, bulk copying or republication of the lessons or images is not permitted without prior written consent.
Historical inscriptions and public domain sources referenced in the lessons remain in the public domain; our presentation and commentary do not.
5. Your own work
Work you produce on the practice grid remains yours. Where you choose to save or share it through the site, you grant us a limited licence to store and display it for the purpose of operating the service.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to reverse engineer, scrape at scale, overload, probe or interfere with the site or its infrastructure, and not to use it to publish unlawful or infringing material.
7. Availability and liability
The site is provided without warranty of uninterrupted availability or freedom from error. To the extent permitted by law, Learnkufic is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site or reliance on its material.
8. Changes and governing law
We may amend these terms as the service develops; continued use after a revised effective date constitutes acceptance. Any dispute will be handled under the laws applicable at our place of establishment.
